The rules for using CueCalc

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CueCalc ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These Terms apply in addition to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement referenced in Section 13.

2. License to Use CueCalc

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use CueCalc on any Apple device you own or control, in accordance with the App Store's Usage Rules, for your personal, non-commercial use (or ordinary internal business use, if applicable to Cues you build for work purposes).

3. No Account Required

CueCalc does not require you to register an account. Any data you create is tied to your device and, optionally, your personal Apple ID via private iCloud sync, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

App-managed trial. Every new install of CueCalc automatically unlocks all CueCalc Pro features for 7 days, free of charge and with no card or purchase required. When this trial period ends, Pro features (Graph Plotter, the AR Math Solver, Formula Studio, widgets, and others) are locked again unless you choose to purchase one of the plans below. Nothing is billed automatically just because the trial ends — a charge only ever occurs if you actively complete a purchase through the App Store.

CueCalc Pro is offered via auto-renewing subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase, currently:

• Monthly: $1.99 per month
• Yearly: $14.99 per year
• Lifetime: $29.99 one-time purchase, no recurring charge

Prices are shown in USD and may vary by region and local taxes, as displayed to you in the App Store at the time of purchase. Key subscription terms, once you choose to subscribe:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the then-current price.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your device. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
• If the App Store additionally offers its own introductory pricing or trial on a specific plan, its terms will be shown to you at the point of purchase and take precedence for that offer.

5. Refunds

All purchases are billed by Apple through the App Store. Refund requests are handled by Apple, not CueCalc, in accordance with Apple's own refund policies. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com or through Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > [choose subscription] on your device.

6. Your Content (Cues, History & Formulas)

Any Cues, formulas, history entries, or Scratchpad content you create in CueCalc remain yours. We claim no ownership over the content you create. When you share a Cue with another person via AirDrop or Files, you are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to share that content and for the accuracy of any formula you distribute.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except as permitted by applicable law
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation
• Attempt to circumvent CueCalc Pro's subscription or purchase mechanisms
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation or infrastructure

8. No Warranty on Calculation Accuracy

CueCalc is designed and tested to be mathematically precise. However, CueCalc is a general-purpose calculation tool and is not a substitute for professional advice — particularly for tax, legal, financial, engineering, or medical decisions. You are responsible for independently verifying any result before relying on it for an important decision. We are not liable for losses arising from reliance on calculation results, including custom Cues you or a third party create.

9. Intellectual Property

CueCalc, its design, logo, mascot, and underlying software are the property of CueCalc's developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of the App itself to you.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CueCalc's developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

12. Termination

You may stop using CueCalc at any time by deleting the App from your device. We may suspend or terminate access to the App for any user who violates these Terms.

13. Apple's Standard EULA

Because CueCalc is distributed through Apple's App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the App, and takes precedence in the event of a direct conflict with these Terms regarding Apple's role as licensor.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law in your place of residence to the extent local consumer-protection law requires it; otherwise, they are governed by the laws applicable to CueCalc's developer, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
