Frequently asked questions

No. Every calculation, including AR Math Solver camera scanning, happens entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. Nothing is uploaded to a server. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Yes — Standard, Scientific, Converter, Fractions and Graph modes are free with no ads. CueCalc Pro is an optional upgrade that adds the AR Math Solver, Cues Studio, and extra themes. See Pricing.
CueCalc is built for iPhone running a current version of iOS. An iPad-optimized layout is planned for a future release.
Subscriptions are managed entirely through your Apple ID. Go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone to cancel anytime — CueCalc never handles your payment details directly.
Deleting the app from your device removes all locally stored data (history, Cues, scratchpad). If iCloud sync is enabled, you can also clear CueCalc's data from Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Account Storage on your device.
Yes, via AirDrop or the Files app. The recipient imports it as their own independent copy — your run history is never shared, only the formula template itself.
Tap Edit Expression to correct it manually. For best results, hold your phone level, keep the equation inside the frame, and write exponents clearly raised. See our Tutorials page for a full walkthrough.

Help us improve CueCalc

Nothing is collected in the background. Only when you choose to send a report do we receive your description plus basic diagnostics (app version, iOS version, device model) to help us reproduce the issue. The more specific you are, the faster we can fix it.

What to include

  • Which mode you were using (e.g. AR Math Solver, Cues Studio)
  • What you expected to happen vs. what actually happened
  • Your iPhone model and iOS version (Settings > General > About)
  • A screenshot, if possible

Scanner-specific issue?

If the AR Math Solver misread an equation, tap Edit Expression inside the app to correct it and send feedback directly from that screen — it attaches the exact context automatically.
